Competition Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before registering for the Skill-Based Essay Competition 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Skill-Based Essay Competition 2025 ("Competition") organized by Vrinda Youth Care of India ("Organizer," "we," "us," "our"), you ("Participant," "you," "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for the Competition.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the Competition, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of India
- Be currently enrolled as a student (school, college, university) OR be a recent graduate OR be a working professional interested in skill development
- Be at least 15 years of age at the time of registration
- Participants under 18 years are recommended to obtain parental/guardian consent
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Have a valid email address and mobile number for communication
Ineligibility: Employees, volunteers, or immediate family members of Vrinda Youth Care of India, Odylabs Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., Coguidm, and Growable Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. are not eligible to participate.
3. Registration Process
3.1 Registration Fee
- The registration fee is ₹299 (Indian Rupees Two Hundred Ninety-Nine only)
- This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances
- Payment must be completed at the time of registration
- Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment
3.2 Registration Method
- Online: Through our official website using online payment methods
- Offline: At designated registration camps/centers with cash/online payment
- Participants will receive a unique Registration ID upon successful registration
3.3 Required Documents
- Valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card, School ID, College ID, or any government-issued ID)
- Recent passport-size photograph
- All information provided must be accurate and verifiable
3.4 Registration Deadline
Registration will close on the date announced by the Organizer. No registrations will be accepted after the deadline, regardless of payment status.
4. Competition Benefits
All registered participants are entitled to the following benefits upon successful registration and payment:

4.3 Conditions:
- Benefits are subject to successful completion of registration and verification
- Certificates and digital benefits will be delivered within 30-45 days after competition completion
- Insurance coverage is subject to insurance company's terms and conditions
- The Organizer reserves the right to modify or substitute benefits with equivalent alternatives
5. Competition Rules & Conduct
5.1 Participation Requirements
- Participants must submit their entries (essay/quiz) within the specified deadline
- All entries must be original work created by the participant
- Plagiarism in any form will result in immediate disqualification
- Participants may submit only ONE entry per person
5.2 Code of Conduct
- Maintain ethical standards and integrity throughout the competition
- Respect fellow participants, organizers, and judges
- Follow all instructions provided by the Organizer
- Do not engage in any fraudulent, dishonest, or unfair practices
5.3 Prohibited Actions
- Submitting plagiarized or copied content
- Creating multiple registrations/accounts
- Using unfair means or cheating in any form
- Manipulating or hacking competition systems
- Harassing or threatening other participants or organizers
6. Evaluation & Results
6.1 Judging Process
- Entries will be evaluated by a panel of qualified judges selected by the Organizer
- Evaluation criteria will be based on creativity, originality, relevance, clarity, and overall quality
- The judges' decision will be final and binding
- No correspondence will be entertained regarding evaluation or judging
6.2 Result Announcement
- Results will be announced within 30-45 days after competition completion
- Winners will be notified via email, SMS, and WhatsApp
- Results will be published on our official website and social media channels
- Participants can check their individual results using their Registration ID
6.3 Disputes
In case of any dispute regarding evaluation, the Organizer's decision shall be final. No appeals or re-evaluation requests will be entertained.
7. Prizes & Recognition
7.1 Prize Distribution
- Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to district-level winners
- Prize amounts will be announced before or during the competition
- Prizes will be distributed at an official ceremony or sent directly to winners
- Winners must provide necessary bank details and documents for prize transfer
7.2 Tax Implications
- Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes on prize money
- TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) may be deducted as per Income Tax regulations
- The Organizer will provide necessary tax certificates
7.3 Unclaimed Prizes
If a winner fails to claim their prize within 90 days of result announcement, the Organizer reserves the right to forfeit the prize.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Participant Content
- By submitting an entry, you retain ownership of your original work
- You grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your entry for promotional purposes
- This includes use in social media, websites, marketing materials, and media publications
8.2 Organizer's Content
- All competition materials, website content, logos, and branding remain the property of Vrinda Youth Care of India
- Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited
9. Refund & Cancellation Policy
9.1 No Refunds
The registration fee of ₹299 is STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind after registration
- Inability to participate due to personal reasons
- Disqualification for violating terms and conditions
- Technical issues on participant's end
- Competition cancellation or postponement (benefits will still be provided)
9.2 Transfer of Registration
Registration is non-transferable. You cannot transfer your registration to another person.
9.3 Competition Cancellation
If the Organizer cancels the Competition due to unforeseen circumstances, all registered participants will receive their entitled benefits (certificate, course access, etc.) but no refund will be provided.
10. Disqualification
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant for:
- Providing false or misleading information during registration
- Plagiarism or submission of non-original content
- Violating competition rules or code of conduct
- Engaging in fraudulent activities or unfair practices
- Creating multiple accounts or duplicate registrations
- Harassing or threatening behavior towards others
- Any other breach of these Terms and Conditions
Consequence: Disqualified participants forfeit all benefits, prizes, and recognitions without any refund.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
Your personal information will be collected, stored, and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering, you consent to:
- Collection of personal, educational, and contact information
- Use of information for competition management and communication
- Sharing of information with partner organizations (Odylabs, Coguidm) for benefit delivery
- Publication of name and photo for winners' recognition
- Receiving updates about future programs and opportunities (you can opt-out)

12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 No Warranty
The Competition and all benefits are provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. The Organizer makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information or materials.
12.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vrinda Youth Care of India, its partners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of data, profits, or opportunities
- Technical failures, internet connectivity issues, or system errors
- Third-party actions or omissions (insurance companies, course providers, etc.)
- Any injury or damage arising from participation in the Competition
12.3 Force Majeure
The Organizer shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, technical failures, or other force majeure events.
13. Modifications & Amendments
The Organizer reserves the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time
- Change competition rules, dates, or format with reasonable notice
- Update these Terms and Conditions at any time
- Substitute benefits with equivalent alternatives if necessary
All changes will be communicated via email, website, or social media. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
14.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these terms or the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
14.3 Dispute Resolution
Before initiating legal proceedings, participants agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation with the Organizer.
15. Miscellaneous
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, along with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Organizer.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15.3 Waiver
Failure by the Organizer to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms. The Organizer may assign its rights to any affiliated entity.
